About Me
About Me:

I keep quite a number of smaller lizard species, turtles and frogs/toads. .I was introduced to a Beardie over 9 years ago and it snowballed quickly.! Currently living here: 3 asian water dragons, 1 australian, 2 frilleds, 1 sudan plated, 2 brown basilisks, Geckos ~ 2 leopards, 2 giant days, , 1 golden, 2 marbled, 4 bearded dragons, 1 blue tongue skink, 1 rainbow skink, 1 berbers, 2 star agamas, 1 clubtail iggi, 1 spiny tail iggi, 1 veiled cham, 1 brown anole, and a cuban knight anole Frogs: 6 fire bellied toads, 2 green tree frogs, 1 pacman, 1 white's tree, (and one wild one I caught in the back yard.) Turtles: 1 ornate wood, 2 RES, 4 mississippi maps, 1 painted. Parrots: 1 Blue and gold macaw, 1 green wing macaw, 3 eclectus parrots, 1 African Congo Grey, the dog, cat and sometimes me and the hubby fit in too.

I work a lot with cohabitation situations, with the wide variety of lizards we keep. The website was designed to help others gain some of the knowledge I have prior to attempting a setting involving different species. Well, thats where the website started out. Now there are over 140 pages of information and more coming in. . Over 200 links to resources. Share your knowledge with us.

Have been interested in reptiles since I was a kid and I am 63 years old now. Like the domestic herps more so than the exotic ones, they are right here for us to study. Use to do a lot of trading with collectors overseas when I first bagan and met some very interesting collectors. Now I like visiting forums such as this to learn what is new in the world of reptiles. Like Bamboozoos ideas about learning and sharing ideas. I currently only have a small collection of 3 collard lizards 3 desert iguanas and 3 leopard tortoises. My favorites are the desert iguanas that I just aquired. Keep up the good work and will write an article or two about some of my past adventures if you don't mind....thanx .. Mike

I just got my first frog and its a pacman. any advice you would like to share?
Feedback from BambooZoo: Hi dustbuster, Pacmans are hardy, eating machines. keep them fed. A dish of water to sit in...moist substrate to burrow, and they are good to go. Calcium without D3 x2 per week until grown. Good luck!
