armadillo lizard - 2007/05/31 18:15 Beccy, why don't you ask your vet to have a look at him if you are worried? That would probably set your mind at ease.

armadillo lizard - 2007/06/02 15:22 Which can be hard to do. Have you goggled Armadillo lizard to see what you can find? How about ads in like kingsnake to find a breeder to ask?

Do they "power" feed lizards to get them to grow faster? I know it's a big problem in snakes and turtles, am betting lizards too.

Re:armadillo lizard - 2007/06/04 03:30 Im not an expert on Reptiles, but I have heard that a lizard grows with the size of its living area. Is it in a small living area? If so, try upgrading to a larger one.

armadillo lizard - 2007/06/11 17:29 It's actually a myth that any reptile will stop growing because his cage is too small. That's not true at all. If you've got a lizard in a cage that is too small for him, you DO need to get a bigger cage... But for his own health and sanity, not because it'll make him grow bigger. I've heard of people keeping their animals in tiny cages because they believe it'll keep their pet small, which is just sick. I'm not saying that anyone here is doing this, but IF any of you are, tell me where you live so I can come hurt you.

armadillo lizard - 2007/06/11 21:21 And, at the same time, some people keep herps in a cage that is too big, which can cause stress for the herp.
