    The cat

IF I believed in LUCK, today would be the day I was celebrating it!! Just got back from the vet. There is no tumor, surgery was not required. My vet felt very sheepish about it since he was sure it was there last time. As it turns out what we saw on the x-ray was the shadow of his dislodged kidney (dislodged long ago - probably by being kicked very hard). His bladder is fine!! He's such a good cat! Suffered through 3 more ultrasounds today (free!) and we walked out the door no poorer!

Off to celebrate with catnip and snuggling.

SO GLAD you 'dodged the bullet.' I have to say that when that happens to me with one of my dogs I feel a sense of relief like absolutely no other.

For my cats? Hah! I've made it for myself! Its nice and smooth, with a somewhat minty finish...

I give my cats whole catnip buds on the vine.

I tried it today. No interest whatsoever from the beasts. Ingrates.

Thanks woman As a matter of fact I just slept in until noon and had him in my arms the whole time. He's more like a teddy bear then a cat!

    Yea! Congratulations. That's fantastic.

BTW - have you ever made catnip tea for your cats? It's exactly what it sounds like, except you let it cool before giving it to them. I saw some for sale the other day at the petstore (ridiculously priced), thought I'd try to make my own. Maybe I'll do that today...
