LG Experts Please Help...
I got my first halfway-house project today. A friend of mine gave me his very sick leo gecko that hasn't eaten in quite a long time and it's pretty emaciated (skin and bones kinda thing) but, it still has a lot of spunk and energy. Friend had it in a tank with much larger
LG's that were bullying and stressing it way the hell out. He didn't even know it was in the tank until a few days ago and he moved it to a tank with smaller LG's. But, it still didn't eat and still acted stressed. So, he gave it to me. I've got it in a 10 gallon on play sand with a heat lamp and a UTH. A hide on the cool and warm side, a nice rock type water bowl, and some nice small crickets. At first the leo showed some interest in the crickets and sort of followed one around but, now he's totally ignoring them. I will need advice at to get him to start eating. He looks like he's in pretty good condition except that he's a walking skeleton. He's alert and almost active.
Thanks much for any help,

I remember when I had lizards, a tiny one who wouldn't eat LOVED mealworm-guts.

as othres say try large mealworms, high in fat, you could try force feeding, not more than 2 otherwise it would be sick, get the pointy end of the worm and gently pust in the corner of the mouth, done it a few times where necc with good results, it should soon work it out your giving it food, just fatten it up and dont worry about nutriction for a week really.

Have you tired waxworms? They're nice and soft, not hard to hunt down, and most lizards think they are yummy. At this point he may be too starved to have enough energy to hunt crickets.
