And, btw, the baby's in no real danger, the snake's been defanged and the mouth probably sewn shut

    Poor snake!

Actually pretty smart idea, teach a baby to play with live snakes, cuz they can't hurt you. Fast forward life to the toddler being out of parental sight for a moment and coming across an unaltered snake. Think the parents will find that "playtime" as cute?

I agree, Jacqui... Wow, what a bunch of idiots. It makes me sick that they would do that to a snake just so their baby can have a fun little toy.

That actually is from an annual festival in India. I don't recall the relevance, but the snake is defanged, void, and has its mouth sewn shut.

I am on dial up so I did not even watch this but what is the sence of this? Defanged, venomoid, and mouth sewn shut? What the hell is this. I have heard of defanged and venom removed, but sewn shut that is just rediculous. Is this a hoax or what this sounds so stupid.

Some stupid festival in India involving "snakecharmers". I don't know why they have the baby playing with the cobra.
