re:Anna......
Ok, you're right here, must have been tired that evening.
P.S.: Are you able to use only one exclamation/question mark at time? And to not trimming the posts as you do, makes it difficult to recognize which part is written by you and to which you're replying to.

re:Anna......
So what was this talking about the high costs of chipping and that it was done generally only on expensive animals?

re:Anna......
First, microchipping one (and only one) animal costs around 1000 dollars. You wanna tell me that this dealer want's to spend that money on wild animals? Second, these microchips don't work like the devices you can use to find a stolen car with the help of a satellite. The chips can be read only catching the animal and reading the chip with a specific tool. It doesn't help you in no way to find the animal wherever it might be coiled up, it's not a beeep-here-I-am-thing.
(You really don't have a clue, do you??? Microchipping costs betwen
35-50 per animal. ALL of my hets are chipped, should they get mixed up!!!! I'm well aware of how chipping works, thanks)
Besides: first you posted because you were concerned about the catching of wild animals. Now you're trying to convince everybody that wc animals are a good thing. You don't seem to have very clear ideas.
(Maybe you better re-read the posts!!!! Talk about somebody only listening to what they want to, sheesh!!! Selective memory or off your meds today???) ERIC

re:Anna......
Of course if I would deal with wc reptiles, I wouldn't write about the cruelty of the catching. Who would buy from me anymore?
A quote from the link you posted:
We are attempting to differentiate all these different localities and, with correct identification and use of microchip technology, set up locality specific breeding groups and produce future generations of exciting locality specific Chondros
Recently on this forum there was a thread about microchipping animals. Again, I don't believe it.
Besides: first you posted because you were concerned about the catching of wild animals. Now you're trying to convince everybody that wc animals are a good thing. You don't seem to have very clear ideas.
