Shed???
Most snakes stop eatting when they are about to shed. Also, their skin may appear dull in color and their eyes will look foggy or white. Some snakes shed as little as twice a year while others shed much more frequently. For example I had a Yellow Anaconda that shed at least once a month while my Kenya Sand Boas shed every 3-4 months. Younger Snakes will also shed more frequently as they are growing faster than a snake that is reaching adulthood.

Carolina, if this is your corn that you're refering to, then she should shed relatively often as she grows. From the size that you've described, she may shed around once every 2 months or so.

Shed???
I have a year old Ball Python and he sheds every 2 months at the moment. this should slow down when he is bigger. his belly goes pink and then his eyes go milky. he then goes clear again just before he sheds. you need to check if he sheds fully as this is an indication of good health and correct humidity. the whole process generally takes about a week. during this time it is best to leave them alone as most snakes don't like to be disturbed while shedding.

Re:Shed???
My corn snake gets a bit grumpy for a couple of days then his eyes go smokey
his eyes stay like that for roughly 2/3 days
then they go clear, then he sheds about 2 days after that
that's when he wants to feed again

Re:Shed???
oh well i bet she sure is. well with corns, their color will become somewhat faded and their eyes will fog up or turn blueish-grey and a couple days after they will shed. during that time, it's best to leave them alone until after they've shedded. it's not always a couple after their eyes fog up, sometimes it's sooner.
