Hey peoples i need help. i recently bought 2 Albino Arfican clawed frogs and they've been fine, but i put in 3 tadpoles, and they have been acting strange like they cant see each other. and i have shrimp pellets and bloodworms, but it seems like their not eating either of them. What should i give them.

Hi Albinofrogguy, welcome to the forum

Perhaps it is better to let the tadpoles grow up first before placing them in the same tank?

I hope someone will react and answer your question based on experience

tadpoles can be tricky there just like any other baby reptile (yes i know there not reptiles) check the temp the humdity make sure everything is perfect also remeber frogs as a rule will eat anything that fits in there mouth so you may come home and find no tadpoles in the cage if you keep them together. likely the temp
is the problum try geting a fish tank heater that should bring the water to around 80 dagrees goodluck

what type of filter is it? how old is it? is it the the proper size? The best way to uncloud water in most cases is to remove the cause and run activated carbon filtration

Well you do have a situation there, part of the problem likely is the pond water vs. your tank water. If you are adding the tadpoles directly. Put the tadpoles in a separate location and change their water over very slowly. I have links to good frog sites (that also have good links and forum links) on mine but my personal experience is very limited with what you are dealing with. Check the temp in your creek water too.

Sorry I cant be of much more direct help.

Also they may need some time to adjust to a new enclosure. I would try not to add anything new for awhile, get them eating and settled in then maybe trying to add another critter. Here is a good web site I found: www.clawedfrogs.com Hopefully this will help you out. It has a pretty good list of different foods you can try for your little guys. Good luck and keep us posted.
