What is the water thing attached to the air pump? Is that a humidifier of some sort? I am very interested in that!

    Re:Lizard Enclosures

I have built cages before for rats but never built one for a Savannah. After some research about what materials were best, I put together this monster of a cage. Total cost was about 90 dollars that's including all the water-base sealers and what not. I had a lot of the stain and stuff left over from some other projects. Overall it took about 2 months to build this. The plexi-glass was a freebie on the account that I "found" the piece at my old college in one of the labs...

    Enjoy!
(sorry for iphone quality, have more but not on my laptop)

this fan will eventually be hooked up to a DAQ and run with a hygrometer...one day when i have time it will

My overall intent with the cage was to build one he will eventually grow into. I had some time so that is why I built this now. Sam is only about 8 inches long but growing rapidly. Eats hardboiled eggs, crickets, and canned sav food. Eats a rat pinkie once a month.

And here's a pic of him enjoying his new paint "pool"
