    Leopard Geckos not eating, help!

[i] My latest leopard geckos were picked up from the pet shop on wednesday (it now being sunday), and on the way home one of them was sick in her container. The sick consisted fully of sand and was a considerable amount. I found another pile of sand that has been thrown up on friday afternoon, and have a feeling that this could have been from my other little girl. They are four months old, and haven't taken to their food since arriving. There has been two poos, but both have been slightly watery. I have cleared up these findings as soon as i noticed and have been offering them new mealworms everyday... I am currently keeping them on newspaper and paper towels whilst I hunt down a reptile shop that sells reptile bark. The tempature is between 85F and 95F, and water is offered to them at all times. They have a moisture chamber, and several hiding places.
Am I doing anything wrong? Does anyone have any adive? Anything would be appreciated!

Can you still return them to the store? No offense and I know how those little guys are so important...you have some very ill Geckos, throwing up is a bad sign, watery droppings is also a big indication something is wrong. I sure would not use reptile bark either. Even if you got lucky and no one digested it, it can cause mouth wounds that can become infected. The safest rout is reptile carpet, or paper towels...I would not try sand either...this could just add to what is already wrong.

Finding sand in the regurgitation, makes me think there could be impaction, a few drops of olive oil once a day can help if you can keep it down. Watery dropping makes me wonder if you have parasites. Both issue can be deadly. I would first see about an exchange or money back. You might not want more from the same store. If that does not work you can call a vet and make an appointment...if you have parasites it usually is to late if they are already having symptoms.

So sorry you brought home already ill Leos...if you keep working with them you can also buy chicken baby food for syringe feeding. Another good product is called Jump Start carried by most reptile shops. I would also add in some Pedialyte to the baby food...this will help hydrate them.
