Hello I am new and I just wanted to know if anyone else collects Chinese tree dragons or even just has one or two and what they think of them.

Wish I had some information for you. I havent seen them in the Canadian market yet....not that I am extra finely tuned in. The closest I can relate to is the horned mountain dragons. I am hearing much more of them and they are about in the UK if you are looking for information or if you have found any links I would love if you would share.I am interested in learning about them.

Well there a couple good care sheets online to learn about them and I have been reading some books on them so if you have any questions or you know anyone else who does you can send them my way. What I don't know from reading I can answer from experince.
Hello. I am a HUGE fan of these guys. We have three of them in a 46 gallon bowfront tank. Two females and a male. We actually just bought the boy today.
They are amazing little lizards, and it saddens me that the pet store we buy them from has so little information of them. We are actually hoping to get some viable eggs off our little ones.
I'm excited to see other people getting involved with these dragon. They have the biggest personality I have ever seen with a lizard.
Do you own any other types of reptiles?
Yes I also have a Chinese water dragon. But I do agree with you my tree dragons are my favorite I would like to start breeding them as well not only to sell but so people can realize what a great reptile they are. I am glad also to see someone else who really appreciates them
One of ours laid some eggs a while back, but they weren't viable. I think it should be relatively easy to breed them as long as they're happy.
I've found mind a little hard to socialize.
Yea from what I can tell they are dificult at first to socialize what I found keeps them most happy is feeding them seperatly if possible.
They seem perfectly okay with each other, actually. At first the two girls were a little defensive, but now they're always climbing on each other. They didn't react at all when we introduced them to the male, though.
What I meant was that it's hard for them to get used to human contact. One of the females is still a little skittish.
Yea I have noticed that it does take awhile for them to aclimate to human contact compared to my water dragon
ok...confused...
I think chinese water dragons and chinese tree dragons are different???
