GTP news :)
Today while handling one of my little gtp's I've noticed that he has his first green scales! He's turning green!!! He had also some clearly white scales along the back while the green scales are above all on his head, one is on his belly. I'm so excited!

Do you have a website or anywhere else I could see pictures of your GTPs?
Binaries sites don't work for me, I can't see any pictures :-(

Pretty exciting! They're such beautiful snakes. Last night I dreamt of your chondros, I really think someday I'll have to have myself a pair.
Amazing snakes, those. When I awoke this morning I wanted to back to sleep to handle my new dream-snakes some more!

Weier & Vitt: "An our specieman changed colour after 2 years, within a week, out of the shedding period."
Switak (1975): "yellow or red before shed, green after."

re:GTP news :)
I have just finished reading an (old) article that mentions that the complete color change usually occurs within 2-3 days.
Have you found this to be true? It may explain why I've never seen a 1/2 green, 1/2 yellow GTP.

You'd be suprised what people will pay big bucks for, then neglect horribly, then dump when it becomes apparent that said expensive thing is going to require professional medical attention.
Actually Wade, knowing you, you probably wouldn't be suprised.
