It was already pretty cold outside, and we rarely ever gets frogs in my neighbourhood (we live close to a river, but we're drastically uphill). I'd like to buy a snake that eats regularly barring health issues. I see no reason to continue to make Gloria the Kingsnake's eating versus not eating a central factor on my worrybeads.

Can anyone suggest such a breed? I know not all individuals within a specific category behave in the same way, but what I'm hoping you can tell me is what type of snake GENERALLY eats assuming good husbandry

Beardies were about the same. but the tokay was only 20 dollars. Are theese prices correct? Is noiselessly somewthing wrong with the Tokay that would make them lower the price? I am confused

Now I have two questions:
Some times one of them turns pale and is sweaty, very wet.
Is there something wrong?
After some time it turns to normal .
And every now and then we find little white "things" in there droppings. We feed on crickets and grasshoppers.

I may be worrying TOO early but our little leopard gecko hasn't eaten in a couple of days. Now --before this feared hunger strike, I did "treat" the little guy to some mealworms (4) and he gobbled them up in a short while.
Could he be showing favorites (not wanting to chase crickets now). I've even crippled a cricket and laid it right in front of him but he bailed on the offer.

Spring saw 1000's of green frog tadpoles in our backyard "creek".
We kept a dozen or so in our aquaria for fun. Almost all morphed and were released in the creek this summer. BUT, three have waited to morph until October, at which point we figured it would be better (and more fun) to house them thru winter at least.

Ok ... I didnt notice till now but apparently 1 of the crickets I put into my gecko tank decided to lay a ton of eggs. I know this because
I seem to have a shit load of 1mm crickets in there. They just ate up
2 of the meal worms that were in the feeding dish.

Here is the question:
Should I be cleaning out the tank and throwing out the substrate???
I dont know if they will harm the geckos or not.

The subject says half of it. When feeding small frogs fruit flys....how the heck do you keep them at frog level? They are the flightless kind, but that doesn't mean they stay on the ground!
